How do I book?

Simply choose your preferred workshop date and number of spaces, then complete your booking online. You'll receive an email confirmation with all the workshop details. 

We will even give you a heads up closer to the event so you don't forget!

What if I can't make it?

Life happens! I totally get it.

If you can let me know at least 48 hours' before the workshop I'll happily find another available workshop date that works for you.

Within 48 hours, bookings can't be rescheduled, but you're welcome to send someone in your place. Just let us know their name.

Tickets are non-refundable for change-of-mind cancellations, except where required by law.

What if Koa Kreative cancels a workshop?

If we need to cancel a session, you'll have the choice of transferring to another available date or receiving a full refund.

Do I need any experience?

Not at all! Whether you're a first-timer or a creative at heart, I'll guide you through everything.

Can I come on my own?

Absolutely! Come solo, bring a friend or make it a date. There's a place for everyone at our table.

Is there an age limit?

Everyone aged 10 and over are welcome!

Anyone aged 10–15 must be accompanied by a paying adult who participates in the workshop too.

Will I get messy?

A little creative mess is all part of the fun! We'll have aprons ready for you, and our natural plant-based wax is easy to clean up. I recommend wearing something comfortable, as some fragrance oils can stain. Roll up your sleeves and leave the cleaning up to us!

What if I have allergies or sensitivities?

Please let me know about any fragrance, wax or food allergies when booking. I have disposable gloves and masks available for anyone who would prefer to use them.

We use fragrance oils during our workshops, so please be aware that scents will be present throughout the space. Masks and gloves may help with some types of contact or exposure, but they cannot prevent all allergic reactions.

When can I take my candles home?

In most cases, you'll be able to take your candles home on the day! They'll still be freshly poured and a little delicate, so we've got some cute little carriers to help them travel safely.

If they need more time to set, or you'd prefer to collect them later, we can arrange a suitable collection time.

Can I shop Koa Kandles at the workshop?

Of course! We'll have a selection of our sculptural candles and Make Your Own at Home candle kits available to purchase. EFTPOS will be available on the day.

My workshops are hands-on, so come ready to dive in and get creative! Each person makes two scented coconut wax candles to take home: a 150ml jar with lid and a 300ml frosted glass candle.

Your Ticket to Fun

Once your payment comes through, you'll get an email confirmation. That's your golden ticket, so bring it along, printed or on your phone. There are only 10 makers per session, so to keep things fair, only ticket holders can attend.

Can't Make It? Let's Find You Another Date

Life happens, I totally get it. If you let me know at least 48 hours before your workshop, I'll happily move you to another date that suits. Tickets aren't refundable, but there's always a spot waiting for you. If it's less than 48 hours out, your ticket can't be moved, but you're welcome to send a friend in your place. Just let me know their name.

If I Need to Make Changes

Every so often I may need to change a workshop date, time, venue or content. If that happens, I'll let you know as early as I can. If I have to cancel a session, you can choose another date or get a full refund.

Most Ages Welcome

Everyone aged 12 and over is welcome! Younger makers need a grown-up with them, and the grown-up needs their own ticket so they can join in the fun too.

Safety First

We'll be working with hot wax, so please follow my safety instructions during the workshop. They're there to keep you, your fellow makers and our space safe.

Allergies

Please tell me as soon as you can about any allergies or sensitivities. That includes fragrance, essential oils and wax, and also food, because the Treat Table has nibbles like brownie, cheese and crackers. There's a spot to note this when you book.

Workshop Materials

Everything you need is provided, so you just have to turn up! The Creative Station will be overflowing with dried botanicals, shells and crafty bits to add extra wow to your candles. Keep an eye out in nature before the day, too. You might find a little treasure to decorate your candle with.
